Get fit for everyday life and a career

People only have one aim after an accident or an illness: to return to their everyday life and career. This is the responsibility of the Rehabilitation Centre team at Bergmannsheil. More than 50 therapists with various specialisms work closely with physicians and nursing staff to provide optimal support for patients. If requested, the therapy already commences in the intensive care unit and often continues after the stay in hospital. Indeed, patients can also use the services offered by the Rehabilitation Centre in Bergmannsheil as outpatients.

The Rehabilitation Centre offers all modern therapeutic possibilities in an area of around 5000 square metres: strength and endurance-training equipment, a large mobility bath, a sports hall, balneotherapy facilities, rooms for functional therapy and for everyday activities from the training kitchen to the PC workstation and a workshop. Almost all everyday situations can be tried out and trained for under professional instruction.
